Blessing Baskets
Every year, the Jersey Shore Dream Center distributes "Blessing Baskets" to help provide local families in need with all the groceries they need to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner, plus enough groceries for several other meals throughout the week. If you would like to give food items for these baskets, please visit the link here to sign up to contribute needed items. We are also collecting monetary donations for these baskets, which will be used to purchase fresh ingredients such as pies, milk, eggs, bacon, and butter. All donations are due to The Shore Center no later than Sunday, November 24th. If you’d like to help organize the baskets or distribute the baskets on November 26th, sign up here.
Thanksgiving Meal Distribution and Volunteering
In lieu of a sit-down dinner this year, we will be distributing pre-packaged freshly cooked meals to the homeless and at-risk community through our Mobile Food Pantry programs. For just $5, you can provide a person in need with a Thanksgiving meal! If you’d like to donate financially, please click here.
We are also in need of additional volunteers to help distribute these meals the week before Thanksgiving as well as delivering blessing baskets.
