What is Serve 24?
Every summer. the Jersey Shore Dream Center partners with local organizations to host a full day of service dedicated to our community. We have had a huge variety of outreaches, from serving meals, blessing people with free groceries, washing and folding laundry, picking up trash in the neighborhood, praying with those in need, distributing clothing, backpacks, school supplies, and more! Every year is a little different and we can’t wait to reveal the full lineup of activities for this year’s event.
Sponsor A Child!
Each year, we bless the children in need in our local community with a brand-new item. Last year, we were able to give 195 children new sneakers. This year, our goal is to give out even more! We chose this item because it gives children confidence, and the ability to play outside with friends, try out for sports teams, exercise, and be prepared for school. Volunteer for Serve 24!
Serve 24 takes a LOT of volunteers! We need help setting up, helping with the event, doing outreach in the community, and more! If you’ve ever volunteered before, you know what a fun and rewarding day of service this is! The volunteer link will be posted in early June. Email us if you’d like to be sent the link when available. You are welcome to volunteer for more than one, just be sure the activities are at different times!
